Training, Support & Equipment
If your organization provides after-school programming or summer camp, it may qualify for SPARK Active Recreation. As a designated SPARK site, your organization will benefit from a nationally acclaimed and proven physical activity curriculum. Site leaders will receive the SPARK Active Recreation lesson plans (in an easy to use binder format), “hands-on” professional training, ongoing site support and specially matched equipment. Equipment vouchers valued up to $2,500 are provided to each site based on assessments.
These essential components provide the foundation for a successful, age-appropriate recreational program for the community.
As a part of its community commitment, Highmark Healthy High 5 is offering SPARK Active Recreation at no cost to organizations that qualify.
